Kristine's ribs

Rib damper
Kristine's ribs are a really good recipe for ribs that you grill yourself.

Portions: 6

3 yellow onions
½ garlic
15 black peppercorns
5 kg of fresh thin ribs
2 dl sifted mudcovado sugar
2 dl Japanese soy
2 dl liquid honey
2 dl ketchup
2 pieces of fresh ginger
4 cloves of garlic

Do this:
1. Boil a large pot of well-salted water, onions in wedges, whole
garlic cloves and black peppercorns.
2. Add the ribs and cook them slowly for 1 ½ hours.
3. set the oven to 200 degrees.
4. Take the wings out of the broth and dry them with paper towels.
5. Place them on a baking sheet and brush with barbecue glaze, recipe below.
6. Grill the ribs for about 30 minutes and brush with glaze once more underneath
the grilling. When the glass has dried a little and gained color, they are ready.


1. Mix muscova sugar, soy, honey and ketchup in a jar.
2. Peel and grate the ginger and 4 cloves of garlic and stir it into the glass.
