Alternative way to make coffee

I read in Wexjö County's newspaper from August 25, 1845, that the merchant JJ Mörk received a patent for an unknown way of preparing grain and potatoes so that they obtain exactly the same taste and smell as ordinary roasted coffee.

It would be interesting to look up the patent and see if there is any substance in it, unfortunately I did not find anything on the Internet about trader JJ Mörk.
