In Sweden, Midsummer is celebrated. In Feira de Santana in Brazil, we have the San Juan festival at the same time, where many people dress up as scarecrows. San Juan is a crazy party that is a mix between Homecoming, Midsummer Eve, Halloween, Harvest Festival and of course fireworks. It's the weekend when everyone comes home. In the small villages people go around and ask if San Juan has been there and if the answer is yes, they go into the home and eat and dance and then move on to the next place.
